We are pleased to announce that a total of £160.00 was raised during this very sociable, enjoyable and worthwhile event.

Laxfield House management matched and increased the collection with a final cheque presentation to Macmillan Cancer Support for the sum of £350.00 .

Laxfield House welcomed their Residents, family and friends to the Annual Garden Tea Party. The Classic Femme Singers group entertained all those present with a very enjoyable afternoon of music and singing whilst we all enjoyed a variety of delicious teatime ‘naughties’!

At our Annual Garden Party, Nursing Sister Lorraine Morris was presented with a cheque acknowledging her 20 years of continuous and dedicatied service to Laxfield House. Presentation was made by Directors Nicholas Knight, Elizabeth Knight and Matron Mrs Judy Carne.

LAXFIELD HOUSE NEWS - CHILDREN IN NEED 2015

Laxfield House are pleased to announce that we held a very successful and enjoyable cake sale in our support for Children In Need 2015 on Friday 13th November. Our chosen event centred around Home Baking and involved residents, their friends, staff and all other visitors throughout the day, all of whom had their palates tempted and teased with the wide range of delicious cakes, buns and various other cream filled naughties !

A very enjoyable time was had throughout the event and its success was summed up with empty plates !!

We raised a final total of £210.50 on the day !

... and a BIG THANK YOU goes to all those very keen bakers who kindly contributed their creations and to those who donated and supported on the the day.

Laxfield House are delighted to confirm that following the hosting of our very successful Macmillan Coffee Morning Event with lots of cake, biscuits and numerous other naughties - all of which were enjoyed by our residents, their guests and staff members - an on the day total of £168.00 was raised. Laxfield House matched this figure pound for pound giving a final fund total of £336.00 being paid to Macmillan Cancer Support .
